The easiest in a while, I think. Finished it over lunch.

Watch out! DA will read all these comments about how easy this puzzle was, and produce a series of nigh-impossible puzzles in the coming months!
Yep, watch out for the one where the theme has us barking up the wrong tree between a rock and a hard place.
By far the easiest da i have seen. Finished in about forty minutes, and no hints or Google needed. What do I do with the rest of my day?
Tragedy at our place today, with a severe case of Puzzlus Interruptus. I took a break with 2 clues to go, and came back refreshed to find that the paper had been binned, and the bin had been emptied. The Significant Other is suspiciously quiet on the matter. Will have to resort to Suduko instead.
After reading how easy this was for everybody, it must be time for them to take me out the back and shoot me ! ! ! Can someone tell me how Nun was arrived at for 7D in Friday’s DA – Expressed love for sister – OK, sister then nun but what is with the Express love for about ?
Nun–homophone for zero.
Given the answers for 2D, 13D, 10A and 24A, I can’t help but wonder whether DA intentionally made this week a little easier than most.
7D – I still don’t understand how ‘Expressed love for sister’ leads to the answer and where does zero come into the picture – be patient with me

And sorry, both of my comments belong in the other thread
Just about to throw out the paper. We didn’t get 1A, 2A or 3A because I incorrectly put “diluter” in 11A. In my defense I thought it was a bit iffy…
