Sure, John Birmingham is alright I suppose, but DA is the really big drawcard when the latter interviews the former at the Wheeler Centre next week!

Yep, I did, but I thought it was going to be a Q&A session between DA and John Birmingham. Instead it was a solo Birmingham talk (prefaced by a short DA introduction) that wasn’t my cup of tea and I left early (I’m not interested in archetypes found in cultural products — film, TV, literature — even if the archetype in discussion is female action heroes).
