  1. I’m told by Triple R the program will be either in their archives or posted as a podcast in the near future. Meanwhile, Wikipedia’s DA article has this link to a Radio National program on him: http://www.abc.net.au/rn/linguafranca/stories/2008/2430598.htm. According to the transcript, he first began setting for the Herald in 1983, in the older days when you had to say which Herald. This was before Despard initiated the daily cryptic in the Age in 1986.

  2. DA on the radio is now available to listen to again on the Triple R website. Go to the archives page http://www.rrr.org.au/programs/archive/ and click on the link next to Love You Leung Time – Part 2. Triple will let non-subscribers listen to the last ten items in the list only, so hop in and listen before it gets buried
